Reality.....

Just when I am sitting at work and thinking......

Should I really go THROUGH with this SURGERY?

Do I really need to take such a DRASTIC measure?

My BEAUTIFUL SKINNY sister posts pictures from my PRECIOUS niece's birthday party this weekend.

Pictures, I might add, I had NO IDEA that were being taken.

The WORST kind of pictures!

The kind of pictures that tell the TRUTH!

That is ME in the back ground with the coral cardigan on. When I fist saw this picture I didn't even realize it was me. I am sitting down in a chair.....you can't tell.

Ignore my brother-in-law! :)

That is ME again. When did MY butt get that big?

Where did the CHAIR go?

Pushing ALL NEGATIVE thoughts away!

Thanks for reading ya'll!

awww don't let those get you down! Pictures are actually what assured me that surgery is what I needed. Just think, someday those pictures will be your 'before' shots! Hang in there, you can do this!

Pictures when you dont know they are being taken ARE terrible but they are also good bc they are honest. Don't let self doubt freak you out about this surgery.

And I love your cardigan by the way!

I agree with Kristen and Amy, don't let them get you down.

Yes, candid pictures can be very disturbing, but it also shoes us what we really look like, which can be very disturbing and scary. But like Amy said, these pictures will be a great way to tell how well you are doing after the surgery!!

If you are not sure, check out Amy's blog for yesterdays post!! Look at her in her 2 piece bathing suit and compared to a year ago!!!

I think the camrea adds about 10 lbs. (just like on TV right?) You are going to do great, don't let self-doubt stop you - really...I did it and it's years I wasted. I'm so much happier now! You will be too.

I have this weird thing of thinking I am absolutley BEAUTIFUL and look AWESOME in everything....yeah pictures like these get my eyes back in focus. I realize why I wanted to do this in the first place! Oh, and I do follow/love/can't wait to read/check 10 times a day Amy's blog! She is such an inspiration! I love heart her blog!!!! I think its great that you are so honest, the blogs help us know we are not alone. I hate this type of picture or any picture for that matter. We had the kids b-day party this weekend and I keep thinking that this will be the last b-day I spend with them fat. I wonder too if I really need this, but as soon as I think about all of the times I've tried and failed, I know that I do need this.

Keep your head up girlfriend. Check out my before pictures on my blog. dirttrackdiva.blogspot.com I'm with you. Those are the most painful and the most eye opening moments. When I saw mine, it was definently a WTF moment.

Yeah don't be too discouraged...you need to see yourself and realize that they could soon be a distant memory! That's what I am waiting for. In fact, I realized today as I went through tons of pics on my computer that I don't have hardly any photos of myself from head to toe. They are all chest and up! That was my way of hiding from the truth! But when the snapshots of my face got just as bad from the my chipmunk cheeks getting bigger and bigger that's when I realized, "hey Jessica! you aren't getting any smaller, it's time to do something about it!" Thank goodness I did. I am soooo ready for my after pictures! hehe Hang in there, it will be worth it.

Even worse is when you are ready for the picture and think you look awesome and then you look at the picture. I have a post about that, here's the link http://wishingandhopingandprayingforaband.blogspot.com/2010/03/picture-on-beachwarning-you-will-see.html
