life back to normal, well my new normal

Wow. What a great ride this has been. I am back to work today after being banded on August 12, 2010. It feels great, I feel great! I have tons of stories to tell ya'll about my banding experience! Lots of post titles floating around! I will get to all of them I promise!

I am still on my liquid diet. 20 days in. 2 more days to go. Then on to mushies!

18 lbs. down!!!!!!

Did I mention I feel good!

As I get back on blogger this morning from a long absence I am hurt about what has been written about me on an ugly man's, and I do mean UGLY, blog. When is this going to end. I know your right, it probably isn't. I am tired of being nice. Just to clear my record. I started this lap band process in February 2010. I got banded August 12, 2010. I had to wait 7 months for insurance purposes. It was not my choice! It was hard. It was a fight. I did it! God and I.

My surgery went fantastic! My recovery has gone fantastic! I feel great!!!!!

I love all of ya'll, I really appreciate all the kind words and emails that were sent my way!

Ya'll really are the best!!!

I have a ton of catch up work to do today at work, but I can not wait to get back to blogging!!!!

I have so many things to say!!!!!

Glad to hear things are going well. He only focuses on you, because if he focused on himself, he wouldn't have much nice to say at all. He's deflecting his anger at himself onto you. Don't let him get to you...he's seriously not worth it.

But yeah again for things going well! Glad to hear it!

I haven't been on much, but I kept looking for new posts from you to see how things went. I can't wait to hear all the details.

Now I must insist that you stop reading that stupid man's blog. Except of course when he posts that he's given up on his diet (it's just a matter of time) OR when he announces that he's getting WLS. Then you have my permission to read it and comment, "Neener neener neener!". Until then, STOP READING! It will only upset you.

Love you!

Hey girl! It is this crazy guy who also has a blog. He is loosing weight on his own, and basically makes fun of everyone who has had a band out in! He writes trash about me all the time on his blog! It is the same one who was so mean to Grace. He is a nutto! Thanks girl! It was really bothering me because he posted on his blog that i had been trying to get a band for 1 year and 4 months. I didn't even start this blog till Feb of 2010. I had to wait 7 months...everyone knows that!!!! He just pisses me off!!!!!! Thanks so much for the support! I am so excited to FINALLY be banded!

Mary, good on you for making a choice to take action. I am pretty sure I know who the "crazy guy" is and don't sweat it too much. The important thing is that you are doing something. To try and compare one weight loss journey to the next is as oversimplified as trying to compare how 2 different people raise their kids. Everyone has unique emotional, physical and mental capacities. There is no one solution or right way but everyone has an opinion. I do suggest that you learn what you can from people giving advise or criticism, sometimes it's the only way we really confront the issues we face.

Congratulations and good luck going forward!
