I collect them too, but I can't bear to take them out of the cases. AND I LOVE CHRISTMAS MOVIES!!! Especially the cartoon (Charlie Brown, Dr. Seuss, etc...) Christmas movies. - My name is Mary!

- I am from the south!

- I started this blog right before I went to my first weight loss surgery seminar.

- It has taken me over 7 months to even submit my surgery request to my insurance company!

- I have worked very hard and have had to jump through several hoops to make this surgery happen.

- I have tried just about EVERY diet / life style change possible and have never lost weight and kept it off.

- I have researched and researched weight loss surgery.

- It took me about 2 years to decide to go for it!

- I am happily married to my wonderful husband, Ant!

- He is totally supportive in this journey, and so is my whole family!

- I have struggled with weight my whole entire life.

- I was put on prescription diet pills when I was in the 6th grade :(!

- I love life!

- This blog was orginaly titled "Band Me...I'm Ready". I changed the name to "the perfect place" in July of 2010. I thought it better described the place I am at in life and my blog.

- The address for my blog is still http://www.bandmeimready.blogspot.com/. I didn't want to change it because I didn't want to loose any of my faithful "friends!"

-This blog is about my life, weight loss or lack of, and my journey to get banded!

- I really appreciate positive support! Please do not leave negative comments!
